BBTS is at least reliable and they have generally great customer service, but as long as they don't charge cancellation fees, I'll continue to use them as my backup and if I find something before they get it in stock I just cancel. Their Super7 stuff has stayed the same, as has a lot of their Bandai stuff. It seems to be mostly NECA, Hasbro, and some other select items. It's just odd that they kind of pick and choose what to tack it onto. They know it's a valuable commodity and they're trying to take advantage of that.
The BBTS markup that has popped up over the last 6 months is basically the consumer's cost for utilizing the Pile of Loot. I'd love to just order them on when they release, but it's not exactly a reliable source and I feel like a doofus checking Target physical stores all the time and finding nothing. But I'm not saying buy it at BBTS, I'm saying BBTS marks their stuff up and it makes the price increase even harder to take. True, but that's what the gods invented Pile of Loot for. I have never seen Thailog at retail though. Hopefully, Demona and Bronx will be readily available soon.
However, my hourly pay isn't going up as quickly so as much as I like to support small businesses, I'm going to have to wait for Target.
Normally, when prices raise, margins remain the same so it's to be expected. Bear in mind you're seeing BBTS mark-up in the price as well.
